Consultation Terms
The terms applying to consultation services provided by Trinity Visa.
Last updated: 7 October 2026
ABOUT THESE TERMS
These Consultation Terms apply when you book a consultation with Trinity Visa. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
A consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your circumstances with Trinity Visa and, where immigration assistance is provided, with our Registered Migration Agent.
INITIAL VISA CONSULTATION
The Initial Visa Consultation is a consultation with our Registered Migration Agent. The applicable consultation fee, duration and any inclusions are displayed at the time of booking.
The consultation is intended to assess your circumstances, discuss your questions, provide preliminary immigration advice, identify potential visa or migration pathways where appropriate, and explain possible next steps.
Advice is based on the information and documents available to us at the time of the consultation and on applicable migration law, policy and other relevant information at that time.
CONSULTATION PACKAGE
The Initial Visa Consultation package includes:
- the initial consultation for the duration stated at the time of booking;
- a preliminary assessment of the matters discussed during the consultation;
- reasonable review of relevant information or documents provided for the consultation; and
- where included in the booking description, one complimentary follow-up of up to 15 minutes within 7 days of the initial consultation.
Where a complimentary follow-up is included in the booking description, it is intended to clarify advice provided during the initial consultation or discuss additional information or documents specifically requested during that consultation.
Where included in the booking description, the complimentary follow-up does not include a new or unrelated matter, substantial additional research, preparation of an application, preparation of substantial documents or submissions, representation, or ongoing immigration assistance.
Where included in the booking description, the complimentary follow-up may be conducted by telephone or video consultation or, where appropriate, provided as one consolidated written response.
Where included in the booking description, the complimentary follow-up must be used within 7 days of the initial consultation and cannot be accumulated, transferred or carried forward.
DOCUMENTS
Where Trinity Visa requests documents for review before a consultation, clients should provide them at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation where reasonably possible.
The consultation includes reasonable review of information and documents relevant to the consultation.
Extensive document review, detailed research, preparation of documents, applications or submissions, or other substantial work is not included unless expressly agreed.
CONSULTATION FEE
The consultation fee is displayed at the time of booking and is payable in full when the consultation is booked.
Payment covers only the services included in the consultation package.
The consultation fee does not include preparation or lodgement of a visa application, substantial additional research, preparation of submissions, representation or other ongoing professional services unless expressly stated.
CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
A client may cancel a consultation at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment and receive a refund of the consultation fee.
A client may instead reschedule the consultation once at no additional charge where at least 24 hours' notice is provided. The rescheduled appointment is subject to availability.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be non-refundable.
A failure to attend the scheduled consultation without prior notice may result in the consultation fee being forfeited.
Trinity Visa may exercise discretion in exceptional circumstances.
If Trinity Visa needs to cancel a consultation, the client will be offered a suitable alternative appointment or a refund of the consultation fee.
LATE ARRIVALS
If a client arrives late, Trinity Visa will make reasonable efforts to conduct the consultation during the remaining booked time.
The consultation will ordinarily finish at the originally scheduled finishing time so that subsequent appointments are not affected.
Any extension is at Trinity Visa's discretion and is not included automatically.
FURTHER SERVICES
The consultation package does not include unlimited advice or support following the consultation.
Work outside the consultation package may attract additional professional fees.
If a client asks Trinity Visa to undertake further research, prepare documents or applications, make representations, provide ongoing immigration assistance, or perform other work outside the consultation package, Trinity Visa will advise the client of the proposed scope and applicable professional fees before undertaking that work.
Where required under the Migration Agents Code of Conduct, further immigration assistance will be provided under an appropriate written Service Agreement.
Booking an initial consultation does not engage Trinity Visa to prepare, lodge or manage a visa application or provide ongoing immigration assistance beyond the consultation package.
NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME
Trinity Visa does not guarantee that a particular visa, migration pathway, sponsorship, nomination, employment opportunity, university admission, scholarship or other outcome will be available or successful.
Any assessment or advice is based on the circumstances and information available at the relevant time.
Decisions made by government authorities, educational institutions, employers and other third parties are outside Trinity Visa's control.
CLIENT INFORMATION
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate and current information relevant to their consultation.
Clients should notify Trinity Visa if information provided before or during the consultation is incorrect, incomplete or changes materially.
Advice may be affected where relevant information has not been provided or is inaccurate or incomplete.
PRIVACY AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Trinity Visa handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Trinity Visa may use artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technology to assist with research, reviewing and summarising information and documents, preparing consultation notes and correspondence, organising information, and other tasks connected with providing our services.
Where personal information is to be entered into an AI-assisted system in connection with immigration assistance, Trinity Visa will obtain the client's written consent before doing so.
AI-assisted technology does not replace the professional judgement of our Registered Migration Agent. Trinity Visa remains responsible for immigration assistance provided by the Registered Migration Agent.
Acceptance of these Consultation Terms by itself is not to be treated as the client's AI consent. AI consent must be obtained through the separate affirmative consent mechanism used during booking or otherwise obtained in writing.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Nothing in these Consultation Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or other protection available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded or modified.
RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER TERMS
These Consultation Terms apply specifically to consultation services.
The Trinity Visa Terms of Use apply to use of our website and our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information.
If a client subsequently enters into a written Service Agreement with Trinity Visa, that agreement will govern the services covered by that agreement.
